The Dalles Auto Repair

My check engine light came on yesterday. I called early this AM to see if Precision could help me. They told me to swing by and they'd put the car on some sort of monitor. It ended up being something that didn't require immediate attention and said it was possibly a computer error with the light. They reset it and said I was good to go. Told me to keep an eye on it and if it does it again to get it checked out. Guy was very nice and personable. Even offered to put on a new windshield wiper I'd been carrying in my car for a year or so. And then he didn't charge me anything for his time! I'd read great reviews about Precision but after this morning I will definitely take my car there in the future when I need repairs. I'm new to The Dalles so I'm happy to have found a good mechanic in town.

We broke down on a Sunday and they had us back on the road heading home Monday afternoon. Can't thank them enough.

We were on vacation in our Dodge Ram 3500, pulling a 12000 lb Toyhauler. In the mountains our truck started overheating, we made it down and called to see if we could get service. I spoke with James on the phone and he worked us in as soon as we got there. They completed our repairs in the morning and we continued our 250 mile journey home without incident. As an RV traveler we are a the mercy of any service we can find, we were turned away at of first call. James and Henry were very friendly and helpful getting us back on the road. I highly recommend any service from this business!

I don't usually write reviews, but I am compelled to, after the amazing service I received at precision auto. Put briefly, they took care of a family members car, on very short notice, prior to heading out of town, giving me piece of mind. Those guys are the best !.

The service was fast and friendly. They have a AAA discount and competitive rates, not to mention thoughtful staff from the receptionist to mechanics.

Very friendly staff and good cup of coffee. The price for brake pads and routers was a bit higher than local shops, but service was great.
