I am not a regular customer at this mechanic but I can't give this shop enough stars! I live in Portland and was driving my 93 Eurovan to Montana when about 10 miles from the Dalles it started acting up. My van was losing power and I had to pull over on the highway. I did a quick google search for vw mechanics and this place was the first spot that popped up. I gave them a call at about 3:45 and the guy let me know they were totally booked and about to close in an hour but that they always try to help folks on the road. I managed to get the van to his shop and he spent about a half an hour diagnosing the problem and helped us get back home. He did this totally for free and I was so grateful for his help and wish all mechanics had this much integrity. Also I wish this place was in Portland because I would be a lifelong customer! Thank you!
