I had an experience like you would see in a commercial. I live out of the area and my car battery light came on just outside of the town. I had just replaced the battery two months ago so it had to be the alternator, I did a frantic search for a shop in The Dalles and found Precision Auto and I am so glad I did. They searched all over to get a part to replacement part on a Friday afternoon! They weren't able to get my part until Monday but lent me a car for the weekend. Without Precision Auto my one-car family would have been stranded for the weekend. Bottomline: Not only they nice folks, they are knowledgeable and do good work for a fair price!

Precision Auto is the only place I've ever taken a car and felt completely comfortable. The mechanics are trustworthy, patient, and willing to work with the car owners. This is where I tell my friends to take their cars. It's an excellent business.
